Medical Secretary/Administrator - Segensworth

Amour Recruitment is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary/Administrator to join our client’s brand-new team based in Segensworth.

You will provide an efficient audio, copy typing and word processing service for the GPs and Health Care Professionals.

Key Duties include:

  • Typing of letters, reports, patient referral, minutes etc
  • Make appointments for patients and liaise with other hospital staff, i.e. consultants and secretaries.
  • Respond and follow through all patient queries with relation to their doctor, both on the telephone and at reception.
  • Report any untoward incidents such as complaints, clinical emergencies and injury
  • Assist the Service Delivery Manager and Head of Support Services with all clerical and administrative duties and attend meetings as arranged by senior managers.

Personal requirements:

  • Experienced audio typist
  • Previous experience within a healthcare administration or care navigator role
  • Evidence of medical terminology experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5 or 10-6

Salary: £22,308
